Who Are We

The idea of a village cinema was started in July 2007 when the new Poringland Community Centre was opened. We joined Creative Arts East scheme 'Village Screen'. Training as projectionists using the Creative Arts East equipment.

Our orginal idea has evolved into a not-for-profit organization in partnership with the Management Committee of Poringland Community Centre.

Financial Support, with grateful thanks, from the following:

     Poringland Fuel Allotment Trust who have sponsored the
     first six films.

     Dyno-Rod and South Norfolk Council have helped us
     purchase the equipment.

We are now ready to roll! We wish to thank all our supporters for their help and encouragement.
